Genre bridges
How to move from one style to another seamlessly.
Switching styles (for example from dembow to house) is the hardest part of a set. This tool finds tracks that fit both: in key and with an in-between BPM.
- Choose the track that's playing (FROM) and the one you want to play next (TO).
- Check the notice at the top: it tells you whether they already fit or whether a bridge is a good idea.
- Listen to the bridge tracks in the list. Each one explains why it fits with both tracks.
- If the BPM jump is big, it suggests two bridges in a row: first one close to the starting BPM, then one close to the target BPM.
