Harmonic mixing: Camelot keys
What 8A or 5B means and how to find tracks that fit.
The Camelot wheel orders keys from 1 to 12, with A (minor) and B (major). Two tracks mix well if they're in the same key, if their numbers differ by one (for example 8A and 9A) or if they share a number and switch letter (8A and 8B).
How to use it
- Open the wheel from the key bubble (next to the search bar) or from the Key page.
- Choose a key.
- Tick «and compatible» to include the ones that mix well.
- You'll see the tracks that fit, ready to listen to.
